Cities and towns throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are considering a new policy called Nicotine Free Generation (NFG), or implementing a “generational smoking ban,” while some have gone as far as to ban the sale of perfectly legal products. A modern-day approach to prohibition.
Now, a group of senators and representatives are pledging to introduce legislation to make such proposals the law of the Commonwealth.
Policies like this fail to recognize that not all tobacco products should be treated in the same manner. They are products for a discerning adult clientele.
